On November 22, 1994, Special Agents John Kuchta, Martha Dixon Martinez, and Michael Miller were working on a Washington DC cold case squad with Sgt. Hank Daly. Only John would survive that day. A felon illegally in possession of an automatic weapon ended up in the wrong room at police headquarters and opened fire.
